Armor of God Outreach

Our engaging curriculum promotes both physical and spiritual well-being for children. Participants will learn essential skills such as handwashing, dental hygiene, and wound care through interactive stations, staffed by your team to demonstrate and reinforce these valuable lessons. One popular activity? Scrubbing finger paint from hands!

On Day 2, we bring Ephesians 6:10-17 to life through skits and games. This program is structured like a Sunday school lesson, teaching the various components of God’s armor and their significance through playful skits and projects, including the “Pin on the Full Armor” game, which maintains a biblical focus while echoing the charm of the classic “Pin the tail on the donkey” version.

Your team, comprising of 6-15 volunteers, including teachers and support staff, will collaborate with local members to deliver our health education lessons, while also providing Home Health kits that contain essential hygiene and first aid supplies.

Disease Prevention Outreach

The Amazing Grace Maritime Missions Disease Prevention program aims to educate both adults and children about the causes of conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, and obesity, along with effective prevention strategies with a Health Fair & Adult Health Screenings. During one health fair lessons called “How much does soda weigh?” Your team will have attendees lift bags filled with the weight of sugar you’d ingest in a year from drinking one soda a day. Turns out it is approximately 31 pounds of sugar a year!

Medical personnel will conduct disease prevention testing for adults, including health screenings that utilize body mass index, glucose A1C levels, and blood pressure assessments. Participants receive a confidential one-on-one health consultation that includes screening results, personalized health education, and prayer. We typically form teams of 6-12 members, comprising 3-4 medical professionals who help with testing & consultation and general volunteers who teach and facilitate the clinic and health fair.

Dulce Dental Outreach

This program delivers vital dental care to underserved communities. Our teams, made up of dentists, hygienists, students, and general volunteers, provides free dental services and collaborate with schools in the village to enhance prevention and oral health education. Our Outreaches transforms lives, one smile at a time. We have 4-6 very basic, reclining “camp chairs”, for patients. Specific dental tools & equipment will be coordinated with your team. We work alongside and support local Mexican licensed dentists.

For $5/month our Dulce Dental Sponsorship program provides follow-up preventative dental care including exams, X-rays, & cleanings with a local dentist.

Our goal is to develop dental hygiene habits to at-risk youth.

For $5/month our Dulce Dental Sponsorship program provides follow-up preventative dental care including exams, X-rays, & cleanings with a local dentist twice a year.

AGMM partners with a local dentist who provides the above services at a discount and we sponsor at-risk youth to receive dental care through our ministry partners who schedules and takes them to their dental appointments.

If the dentist discovers that more dental services are needed, our ministry partner consults with the child’s parents to contribute funds for the extra fees.  For the child to be part of the program, the parents helps the child develop a daily routine of brushing their teeth at least twice a day and reduce their intake of sweets that can damage their teeth.
