Preparing Your Church Team

Everything you need to know to lead a life-changing outreach with confidence and joy

At Amazing Grace Maritime Missions, we don’t just invite your church to come — we walk with you every step of the way. From the moment you say “yes,” our team becomes your partner in prayer, planning, and preparation so your people return home forever changed and your church is renewed in its calling to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

Team Preparation & Training We Provide

We make it simple and Spirit-led for your church leaders and team.

Before You Arrive

  • Personalized Planning Calls — We schedule one-on-one calls with your team leader to customize the outreach to your group’s gifts and goals.
  • Complete Curriculum & Training Materials — You’ll receive our ready-to-use Armor of God, Disease Prevention, and Dulce Dental curricula, along with detailed leader guides, skit scripts, station setups, and supply lists.
  • Virtual Team Training — We host a live training session (via Zoom) to walk your team through the daily schedule, cultural tips, spiritual preparation, and how to lead each activity with both excellence and love.
  • Prayer Support — We pray with and for your team before, during, and after the trip.

On the Ground in Mazatlán

  • Full Day of Outreach Preparation — The day after arrival is dedicated to team building, final training, supply loading, and a time of worship and commissioning. Your team will feel equipped, united, and ready to serve.
  • Side-by-Side Coaching — Our experienced staff and local Mexican partners work right alongside you, demonstrating each station or activity so your team feels confident and supported the entire time.

We handle the heavy lifting

So your leaders can focus on shepherding their people and watching the Holy Spirit move.
