AMAZING HOPE

While the Amazing Grace is focused on providing health care, dentalcare, optical clinics and healthcare education to isolated and disadvantaged people along Mexican coastal villages in the Sea of Cortez, the Amazing Hope expands the impact of Amazing Grace Maritime Missions by giving at-risk youth sailing experience and teaches biblically based life skills. This opportunity allows the children to enjoy the water and learn about the love of Jesus Christ.

Statistics show that there are five basic supports and opportunities that youth need to rise above the negative impact caused from drug influenced communities:

  1. Emotional & Physical safety
  2. Caring relationships
  3. Program Participation
  4. Community Involvement
  5. Skill building.

Providing a sailing program for the at-risk youth in Mazatlán meets these needs.
