The ship is getting ready to serve the various populations of Mazatlan and the unreached people along the Sea of Cortez! We have a group of experts this week volunteering time to prepare for the voyage: Captain Ed checking and rechecking our route, Zeus working on diesel mechanics, Ikaika & Tex from YWAM Mazatlan moving porthole covers and inspecting the anchor chain, Anna and Jennifer from YWAM ships checking off the to do list, and Chatelier and Noah helping everywhere they are needed.
Final Preparations Being Made
The excitement is mounting as the Engineer and Captain are projecting to set sail in a matter of weeks. After all the wonderful planning and preparing, hearing the word “weeks” sounds crazy!!

Many of you have asked us to be even more clear as to our needs and how others can be a blessing to this ministry. Need for Additional Monthly Supporters:
Now that we are so close, we are making an URGENT appeal. Based on our faith in God and His Grace and all the wonderful financial support we received so far, we are committed to going to Mazatlán no matter what. However, our length of stay is dependent on the additional monthly support that we receive.
We are nearing the end with only an additional need of $2,300 a month. That is 77 additional supporters giving $30 a month or 23 providing $100 a month and a variety of options in between. If you are not already a monthly supporter, we humbly ask that you sign up now. If you are asking others to join, please let us know of your available times so that we can meet with your friends, family, colleagues, churches or organizations.
