This year was incredibly exciting for Zeus, Charlotte, Chatelier and Noah and 2016 promises to be another! Thank you all for your prayers, encouragement and support throughout this year. With your help we launched Amazing Grace Maritime Missions and helped pioneer YWAM Ships Mazatlan. As you read this message, Ikaika and Dori Hobbs, Directors of YWAM Ships Mazatlan, organize the training schools in Mexico for January and April as well as short term outreach teams for the year. While we do ship work and, God willing, get ship in to the shipyard in March and sail it to Mexico soon after. We covet your continued prayers. They are what makes this all happen.
God's Grace ~ 2015
To prepare to help people in Mexico in the name of Jesus, Zeus had to sacrifice joining the rest of the family training in Kona. For the past three months Charlotte learned how to rebuild a carburetor and studied reading charts, tide tables and plotting a course. Also training in fire safety, life rafts and electrical systems. All while living in a dorm room with Noah and Chatelier in a college atmosphere at Ywamships Kona. Zeus worked 2,500 miles away at home in California talking with the shipyard, battening down the hatches during the rainstorms while working his normal IT job. He did get to join the family in Hawaii for Thanksgiving. Charlotte graduated just before Christmas. After which everyone was reunited in California to celebrate the Holidays. Next step. Get the ship ready to sail to Mazatlan. So exciting!
May the love of Christ guide and fill you in the coming year.
