Serving the isolated poor & needy with God's Amazing Grace

Preparations are in full swing. March 18-25, 2015 Zeus, Charlotte, Noah and Cyndi Muscat, a longtime friend and fellow board member of our ministry Amazing Grace Maritime Missions met with leaders of YWAM Ships Mazatlan. We formed a wonderful relationship with Ikaika and Dori Hobbs whom we are partnering with to help lead the ministry. Together we prayed and planned as we sought God's vision for this ship ministry. We also surveyed mooring, shipyards and safe harbors. We saw how our ship can serve by transporting people and supplies to build homes, providing medical clinics, and evangelism all to demonstrate the love and care of Christ to the needy.
The first YWAM Ships Mazatlan Discipleship Training School will be held this coming January. The DTS will focus on building a person's relationship with Jesus Christ and our ship, Amazing Grace, will take these students on their outreach in April through May 2016. From now until then our focus will be on equipping the m/v Amazing Grace as well as ourselves to sail early 2016.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11
Sail Study Serve by Chatelier
Ahoy there, from the big island of Hawai'i!
I have recently finished a 3 month illustration arts course. I learned art technics and became a better artist.
My next adventure is crewing a 57ft sailing ketch down to the Marshall Islands, in Micronesia! The voyage will be about 2-3 weeks long. I will be staying aboard the vessel Cloud Nine for two months. During this time I will be serving the local people in the Marshall Islands. Please pray for excellent weather, SAFTY, no one to get sea sick and that we will be able to do God's will as we serve these people. Mahalo!
Friends Food & Fun Amidst the excitement of ministry building, Noah is finishing 6th grade. During our visit to Mexico a few weeks ago, Noah made great friends, had fun playing soccer as well as swimming and of course he loved the wonderful food.

Sailing to reach the most isolated & disadvantaged people who have little or no access to clean water, basic medical care & education.
As Christians, the bible commands us to reach out to, "the least of these." There are many isolated, poor and needy people around the Sea of Cortez who can be reached by ship. There are opportunities to help provide housing, clean water, medical care and education. Join us to serve these people.

Thank you for all of the encouragement we've already received!
